Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow workflows, flows, APIs, and related capabilities
Design, configure, and optimize ServiceNow workflows to improve operational efficiency and user experience
Develop and maintain unit tests as part of the software development lifecycle
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions
Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user guides
Maintain Knowledge Articles associated with developed functionality
Develop solutions using ServiceNow Flow Designer and/or Workflow Editor
Utilize JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting to develop and customize applications
Configure and maintain UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and ServiceNow data models
Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML
Work with multiple application scopes and ServiceNow system table structures
Support ServiceNow back-end functionality and operations
Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities and follow established SDLC practices
Troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions using critical and creative thinking
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement technical enhancements
Support ServiceNow Incident Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management functionality
Utilize ServiceNow vendor documentation and the ServiceNow HI Portal as needed
Develop and support Automated Test Framework activities
Present process improvements and technical solutions to leadership when required
Plan and develop ServiceNow applications from initial concepts and basic requirements using minimum viable product approaches
Work independently while collaborating effectively with team members in a remote environment
Perform additional development and support activities as assigned

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of ServiceNow development experience
