The available external beam treatment modalities include 3D conformal radiation therapy, IMRT utilizing RapidArc® technology, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), as well as OSMS/AlignRT surface monitoring and respiratory gating for enhanced treatment precision.
As part of the interdisciplinary team, the Radiation Oncologist will utilize professional expertise to manage patient care effectively, employing the nursing process in a manner that integrates both clinical knowledge and practical skills.
